Measurement and Controls Activities

Bureau Veritas Fuels Hellas, is currently recruiting a calibration technician to work in the Calibration Laboratory on a full-time basis. The individual must be flexible, enthusiastic and committed to work in a challenging environment.  

Requirements 

• Graduate of a natural sciences program from a higher education institution.
• Preference will be given to applicants with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry Engineering.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets/Microsoft Excel and an adequate overall level of computer literacy.
• Knowledge of 3D rendering and CAD software will be considered a significant advantage
• Satisfactory knowledge of Mathematics and Physics.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and in challenging conditions.
• Possession of a valid and clean driving license.
• Full compliance with Health and Safety standards at all times.
• The successful candidate must follow all company safety and housekeeping policies and report any unsafe conditions.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from Athens.

Responsibilities

• Conduct measurements according to the SOPs of the Calibration Laboratory.
• Analyse obtained data and prepare calibration certificates for issuance.
• Report non-conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintains laboratory equipment quality by conducting and documenting scheduled inspections according to established procedures.
