How can you leave your mark?

 

Bureau Veritas Greece is seeking an Industry Business Unit Manager who will have the following key responsibilities:

 

  • Setting up, coordinating, delegating, supervising and managing the overall Business Unit Industry;

 

  • Conducting market analysis (regarding customers, services, competition and future potentials) and providing recommendations for positioning of the organization;

 

  • Developing and implementing business strategies for the industry area, while ensuring alignment with the overall strategy of the company;

 

  • Perform selling activities to generate revenue Generation, in line with Company’s targets;

 

  • Leading and steering the operational organization performing these activities within the framework of company’s procedures, Code of Ethics, BV group policy and requirements of all licenses to operate;

 

  • Managing PNL (Profit and Loss) of industry services in the country;

 

  • Managing the resources to deliver these services.

 

Required skills and attitudes:

 

  • Studies in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) with Sales/Business Administration background;

 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience;

 

  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of sector-specific regulations, standards, and best practices;

 

 

  • Product/Service Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of Bureau Veritas offerings and technical capabilities;

 

 

  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of industry certifications, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements;

 

  • Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and explain complex technical solutions to clients;

 

  • CRM Proficiency: Expert use of Customer Relationship Management systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.);

 

  • Sales Analytics: Data analysis and interpretation of sales metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards;

 

  • Forecasting: Ability to create accurate sales forecasts and pipeline projections;

 

  • Contract Management: Knowledge of contract terms, pricing structures, and negotiation frameworks;

 

  • Market Research: Conducting competitive analysis and market trend analysis;

 

  • Financial Analysis: Budget management, P&L understanding, ROI calculations;

 

  • Pricing Strategy: Knowledge of pricing models and margin optimization;

 

  • Excel/Data Tools: Advanced spreadsheet skills for reporting and analysis;

 

  • Business Acumen: Understanding of financial statements and business metrics;

 

  • Multilingual Abilities: Proficiency in English and industry-relevant languages for international markets;

 

  • Technical Writing: Ability to write proposals, reports, and technical documentation;

 

  • Greek and English excellent knowledge (Italian, German or French knowledge will be a plus);

 

  • Flexibility to travel in Greece and abroad.
