As we continue to develop Marine & Offshore activities, we are aiming to strengthen the Technical Staff of our Bureau Veritas Marine Operational Center South East Europe, Black Sea and Adriatic (SEEBA) and Piraeus Connecting District. Position is located within our Pireaus office in Greece and you will be welcomed in a supportive and collaborative learning environment

What will you do?
Marine Operational Centers represent the marine Head Office for their zones of responsibility and manage Classification/Statutory Certification for Units which are located in their geographical sectors (South East Europe, Black sea and Adriatic in our case).
Connecting Districts are offices (BV Piraeus in our case) located in units which are committed to maintaining privileged relations with existing and potential ship Owners/Managers located within the Unit's intervention zone and to undertaking the tasks relevant to the proper follow up of the connected ships.
Qualifications required:
The successful candidates for our Marine Operational Centre should have an adequate knowledge of English language and their character integrity and culture should fit the Society’s Code of Ethics.
All candidates should have, as a minimum, the following education:
- Hold a Naval Architect / Mechanical Engineer (AEI or equivalent) or
- Hold a Naval Architect / Mechanical Engineer’s Diploma (TEI), plus a postgraduate Master’s degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
The candidates should have at least five years of experience in the marine engineering field including management of Classification and Statutory Certification.
