As we continue to develop Marine & Offshore activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organisation as Senior Accountant. Position is located within our Piraeus office in Greece and you will be welcomed in a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

Functional Competencies: 

• Entry of expenses and purchases of fixed assets in the company's accounting program
• Issue of revenue invoices and other documents
• Monitoring and reconciliations in myData
• Cash management and monitoring/reconciliation of bank accounts
• Reconciliation of suppliers - customers and other creditors/debtors of the company
• Preparation of suppliers' payments, taxes and contributions to the government
• Asset register management
• Preparation of monthly tax returns, statements of agreements, etc.
• Preparation of analytical data and various reports
• Participation in additional monthly and annual financial reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Economics
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• 4-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office) and proficiency in spreadsheets
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as GD Edwards / SAP will be considered an additional qualification
• Knowledge of Greek and International Accounting Standards
• Diligence, responsibility, and a collaborative team spirit
• Analytical and critical thinking, politeness, discretion, and attention to detail
• Ability to work under time pressure and strict deadlines
