As we continue to develop Marine & Offshore activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organisation as Human Resources Business Partner for Greece, Malta, Cyprus Area. Position is located within our Pireaus office in Greece and you will be welcomed in a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

 

 

About the role:

This role is to ensure strong alignmnet between employees and the organization, through quality HR support, and a commitment to recruit, develop, reward and retain talent. The position oversees the full spectrum of HR functions; ranging from talent acquisition to employee development, performance management, compensation and benefits and employee engagement and maintaining accurate HR data in Success Factors. The HRBP also contributes to the Marine & Offshore Product line and the Europe Middle East Africa Region (EMA) by taking part in assigned HR projects and upporting people strategies, culture and organization priorities.

 

 

 

Your role:

 

  • HR Operations & Compliance

Manage day-to-day HR operations for Marine and Offshore Product line across Greece, Malta, Cyprus Area.

Ensure HR compliance, including payroll-related processes, in line with local legislation and company policies.

Address employee inquiries and support the resolution of employment-related matters.

 

  • Business Partnering

Partner with operational managers, Shared Service HR (SSC), and the broader HR network to support business goals.

Coach and guide managers on people management, organizational development, and workforce planning.

Contribute to headcount planning, budget preparation, and organizational restructuring efforts.

 

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Manage the full talent acquisition cycle in alignment with M&O guidelines, leveraging SF recruitment modules.

Strengthen employer branding to attract and retain key talent.

Oversee and continuously improve the onboarding experience to ensure successful integration of new hires.

 

  • Performance, Talent & Development

Drive global HR processes, including performance management, succession planning, L&D initiatives, engagement surveys, and salary review cycles.

Identify learning needs and coordinate L&D programs, adapting Group tools and solutions to local and EMA requirements.

Provide guidance to managers and employees on career development and growth opportunities.

 

  • Employee Engagement & Culture

Participate in HR initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and engagement.

Support the implementation of the EMA Region’s People, Culture, and D&I strategies across all HR processes.

Contribute to selected Group HR Tribes (e.g., Learning & Development, D&I).

 

  • Policies, Processes & HR Data Excellence

Ensure consistency and quality of HR processes by maintaining and improving HR policies.

Manage HR data within SF to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Gather, analyze, and interpret HR metrics to identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations.

 

  • Collaboration & CSR Initiatives

Build strong partnerships with EMA HR teams and local SSC HR teams.

Support CSR initiatives in alignment with Zone priorities and promote a culture of social responsibility.

 

  • Additional Duties

Perform other ad hoc tasks or special projects assigned by the Greece, Malta, Cyprus Area Manager and the EMA Region HR Manager. And also monitor payroll and HR compliance for other Company Product lines operating in Greece.

 

 

Your profile:

  • University degree preferably in Human Resources, Economics, or Finance.
  • 7-10 years of working experience in a similar role,
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with people,
  • Positive mindset and team player,
  • Have keen eye for details, good grasp of numbers, and strong sense of integrity,
  • Positive mindset
  • Good time management, organisation, and interpersonal skills,
  • Active in social media, preferably in LinkedIn,
  • Ability to work independently and within a team,
  • Good level of English,
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems (preferably SAP Success Factors).
