 Purpose of Position
- A result-driven Project Manager with 15–18 years of experience in managing EPC/PMC
assignments for industrial, renewable, utility and hydrogen/chemical plant projects. Proven
track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, managing project controls, ensuring
compliance with safety and statutory codes, and delivering complex projects within time and
cost targets.
 Major Responsibilities
- Lead the overall execution of the PMC scope across design review, procurement,
construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) between Client, EPC Contractor, OEMs, and
regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, statutory requirements, and international
standards (IEC, IS, OISD).
- Oversee project scheduling, cost control, risk management, and quality system
implementation.
- Conduct periodic progress review meetings, HSE audits, and management-level reporting.
- Drive timely resolution of design deviations, interface issues, and contractor queries.
- Manage change control, claims avoidance, and contractual compliance from PMC side.
- Lead the commissioning oversight and ensure completion of final documentation and
handover deliverables.
1. Project Delivery & Timelines
 Ensure adherence to the overall project schedule from design review to commissioning.
 Achieve 100% schedule adherence for engineering, procurement, construction, and
commissioning milestones.
 Drive timely closure of RFIs, design comments, deviations, and interface issues.
2. Design & Engineering Review Performance
 Ensure 100% review of engineering deliverables within agreed turnaround times (TAT).
 Coordinate effectively with EPC, OEMs, and design-review subcontractors to maintain
engineering progress.
3. Procurement & Vendor Management
 Ensure on-time vendor document approvals and FAT scheduling.
 Monitor logistics and dispatch clearances with zero delays attributable to PMC gaps.
 Ensure compliance with QAP/ITP for all critical equipment.
4. Site Execution & Quality Control
 Maintain compliance with QA/QC standards, statutory regulations, and project specifications.

Achieve zero major NCRs due to PMC oversight.
 Ensure timely resolution of punch points and site issues.
5. HSE Compliance
 Ensure 100% adherence to site safety requirements and statutory norms.
 Monitor implementation of Job Safety Analysis, PTW systems, and toolbox talks.
 Zero LTI (Lost Time Injury) recorded under PMC supervision.
6. Project Monitoring & Reporting
 Deliver accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to NLCIL.
 Ensure proper implementation of project controls (Primavera/MSP) with real-time dashboards.
 Maintain risk registers and drive proactive risk mitigation.
7. Stakeholder Coordination & Leadership
 Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for NLCIL, EPC, OEMs, and internal BV teams.
 Ensure high-quality communication and timely closure of cross-functional actions.
 Lead the PMC team effectively and ensure measurable team productivity and accountability.
8. Commissioning & Handover
 Ensure smooth cold and hot commissioning with documented checklists.
 Ensure 100% completion of punch list and final acceptance testing.
 Deliver high-quality handover dossiers (as-built, O&M manuals, close-out reports).
9. Client Satisfaction & Compliance
 Maintain a client satisfaction rating of ≥ 4.5/5 throughout the project.
 Deliver the project with full compliance to contractual scope, technical standards, and PMC
obligations.
10. Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Contribution
 Identify process improvements for PMC delivery in Green Hydrogen projects.
 Contribute to BV’s internal capability building for future hydrogen/ammonia assignments.
 Support lessons-learned documentation and best-practice development.
o The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the
BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
 Roles & Responsibilities for HSE
- Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
- To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local
legal requirements on HSE as applicable
- To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
- Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices /
conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
- Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects
 Qualification and Experience
General:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical.
- PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred.
- Prior experience managing hydrogen/renewables/chemical/ utility-scale industrial projects mandatory.

Technical:
- Strong understanding of PEM electrolyser systems, hydrogen safety standards, water
treatment, power systems, and balance-of-plant engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of project controls (Primavera/MSP).
- Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, conflict management.
- Comprehensive understanding of EPC contracts, QA/QC processes, and risk management
methodologies.
- Expertise in handling government/PSU project protocols.
 Skills & Qualities:
- Project Management (Engineering–Procurement–Construction–Commissioning)
- Strong knowledge of PEM electrolyser systems, hydrogen safety norms, and balance-ofplant
- Contractual and commercial understanding (EPC contracts, risk management)
- Leadership and stakeholder coordination (Client–EPC–OEMs)
- Primavera/MSP, project controls, reporting systems
- HSE implementation and statutory compliance familiarity
- Should be well versed with HSEQ policies.
