Purpose of Position

• To generate a technical & commercia proposal in response to the clients RFPs
• Major Responsibilities
• Coordinates with the Region Sales Executives, Tender team to prepare and deliver commercial and technical proposal to the client.
• Correctly identifies the category of technical service requirement and approaches the respective product line heads for broad based inputs.
• Discusses and understands the technical-operational requirements of an opportunity with the respective product line heads to build the base level costing estimation.  
• Coordinates with the tender team/ Sales Executive for any clarifications and queries needed to prepare a techno-commercial offer.
• Determines (with help from the product line head) sub-contractor service that may be required, works closely with the region sales executive to get the necessary sub-con quotes as input to BV’s offer.
• Participates in client’s pre-bid meetings and pre-tender discussions as and when needed.
• Facilitates final price estimations and discussions.
• Coordinates with the Product line head to prepare the credentials needed for the Proposal.
• Delivers the final pricing and framework of technical proposal to the Region Sales Executive for submission of the final proposal to the client.
• Maintains a tracking sheet of proposals submitted, follows with the region on progress of evaluation by the client and keeps the tracking sheet live.
• Maintains a history of won/lost opportunities with prices and record of all work completion certificates.
• Support with other activities as required by the Management.

  Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.                                                                                       
• To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.    
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
• Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects
• Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
• Deliver a comprehensive proposal to the client within the deadline.

Qualification and Experience

• Engineering Graduate with min. 2 yrs of relevant experience (Experience in Oil& Gas sector will be preferred).
• Knowledge of QA/QC/QMS will be preferred

 Skills & Qualities:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Excell, some knowledge of building estimations for Service Industry is required.
• Basic understanding of Margins, operating profits and ability to quickly compute the same.
• Good communication and presentation skills
