How could you leave your mark?

 

 
The job incumbent is responsible for commercial growth of marine and offshore activities in Italy and Monaco, for the products and services of Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore.
The role focuses on expanding market share across new building and in-service segments while strengthening strategic relationships with shipowners, shipyards, designers and all related key stakeholders.

 

 

The resource will have the responsibility on the following activities:

 

 

  • Work closely with M&O Italy Monaco Director in the growth, development and execution of the Marine and Offshore strategy, including matters related to market access, expanding the market share, participation in tenders & projects and local capability build-up;

 

  • Provide leadership and guidance on commercial matters to related marine stakeholders, business unit managers and Italy commercial team, foster a cohesive commercial environment to ensure high level of commercial presence;

 

  • Engage with the Area and Region Marine and Offshore teams to bring support to the local business development initiatives;

 

  • Identify, develop opportunities and formulate local strategies to grow Marine and Offshore wind activities;

 

  • Develop and grow close relationship with Clients and Prospects;

 

  • Monitor and lead the pursuit and contracting of large Marine and Offshore opportunities;

 

  • Secure effective cooperation between Industry & Facilities and Marine & Offshore stakeholders, when necessary, for efficient sales and key account management;

 

  • Ensure compliance with Group, Marine & Offshore commercial guidelines and procedures.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Demonstrated experience using Salesforce CRM systems in a structured sales environment;

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Naval Architecture or equivalent;

 

  • 10+ years work experience in marine related industry, of which 5 years in commercial and managerial capacity;

 

  • Possess strong commercial, networking, negotiation and influencing skills;

 

  • Ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders;

 

  • High resilience and motivation;

 

  • Having a change mindset to create opportunities for tomorrow.

 

Place of work: Rome or Genoa with availability for business trips in Italy and Monaco.
