Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore is looking for an experienced maritime commercial professional to lead commercial growth across Italy and Monaco.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who combines strong industry relationships, commercial drive, and strategic thinking. You will work closely with shipowners, shipyards, designers, operators and key maritime stakeholders while helping expand Bureau Veritas' presence across both the newbuilding and in-service markets.

Your Impact

As Commercial & Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our business development activities across Italy and Monaco.

You will:

• Drive the commercial growth of Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore across both newbuilding and existing fleets.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key shipowners, shipyards, designers, investors, operators and maritime decision-makers.
• Identify and pursue strategic business opportunities within shipping, offshore and emerging energy sectors.
• Lead commercial discussions for major projects, tenders and complex opportunities.
• Contribute to the growth of ITM Marine activities, with a particular focus on developing business with key clients in the dry bulk and tanker sectors.
• Collaborate closely with local, regional and global teams to expand market share and enhance client engagement.
• Act as a trusted commercial advisor to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Promote Bureau Veritas' services and reputation across the Italian and Monaco maritime communities.

Who We Are Looking For

You are a commercially minded maritime professional with an established industry network and a passion for business growth.

You will ideally bring:

• 10+ years of experience within the maritime industry.
• Proven success in commercial, business development or key account management roles.
• Strong relationships across the Italian maritime ecosystem.
• Experience engaging with shipowners, shipyards or marine technical stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation, networking and influencing skills.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
• Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Engineering or a related discipline.

Location
