Responsibilities:

 

  1. Ensure the sequence of work during the construction phase of RM OGP Project aligns with the Path of Construction derived from the Construction Work Area (CWA) of AWP process.
  2. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) construction team and Company’s construction engineers to release offsite construction work for execution in the correct sequence and without constraints, thereby achieving optimal and efficient construction.
  3. Participate actively in Execution Plan Review, Construction Review, etc., providing valuable construction inputs to streamline work sequence and reduce rework and punchlist.
  4. Serve as the Resident Construction Engineer for COMPANY during module fabrication work and transition to Bintulu site office during Bintulu Port, MLNG, BIF, and BAGSF2 offsite works.
  5. Liaise actively with third-party operators responsible for safe plant operation, ensuring compliance with all plant safety regulations.
  6. Report directly to RM OGP Onshore Construction Manager.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

 

  1. Minimum degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil) from a recognized institution.
  2. Working knowledge in brownfield plant modification/turnaround, SIMOPS/SSP, Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), modularized construction, tanks, steel structure, pipings, equipment installation, heavy lifts, blasting and painting, insulation works, NDT, regulatory compliances, earthwork, piling, concrete, etc.
  3. Minimum 15 years of Oil & Gas industry experience with installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning in onshore gas plant and petrochemical plant.
  4. Preferably 5 years of experience in Cat-3 workpack preparation and construction planning for hook-up/installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
  5. Familiarity with planning software such as Microsoft Project/Primavera P6 and drafting/3D modeling software like AutoCAD, SmartPlant 3D, Navisworks, etc.
  6. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
