JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Undergo traineeship on review of structural drawings and stability documents for ship design and offshore installations, according to applicable rules and regulations.
  2. Perform review of marine construction, equipment of drawings / document according to applicable rules, regulations, and delegations.
  3. Communicate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensure contract requirements are met.
  4. Support and provide technical advice to clients, in consultation with senior engineers.
  5. Liaise with department administrator on quotation and invoicing matters.
  6. Participate in meetings (both internal and external) as required.
  7. Attend all scheduled trainings (locally and overseas) and ultimately achieving specified delegations as agreed in MyPerformance/MyDevelopment Process.
  8. Ensure timely and accurate submission of time & expense sheets.
  9. Keep up to date with new rules, regulations and technical information or process disseminated through internal communication.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Possess a bachelor's degree qualified in Naval Architecture, Structural Engineering or Marine Engineering or Masters in Naval Architecture.
  2. At least 2 – 3 years of working experience in shipyard is desired or in Marine and Offshore related field.
  3. Strong in Mathematics and Physics.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  5. Plus point: Minimum delegation level 1 within area of specialization: Hull, Machinery, Electrical / Automation, Safety, Stability / TLO.
