Power Plant Electrical Engineer (Pahang/ Johor-Based)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Power, or related engineering discipline).
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (depending on position level) in power generation, power transmission, renewable energy, utility, industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, or large-scale engineering projects.
3. Experience in CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) power plants, thermal power plants, renewable energy projects, utility infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects would be highly advantageous.
4. Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction), Owner's Engineer, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, operations, or maintenance environments.
5. Good understanding of engineering design, construction methodologies, project execution, commissioning activities, and site operations.
6. Familiarity with applicable engineering codes, industry standards, technical specifications, quality requirements, and project documentation.
7. Experience working on large-scale industrial, power plant, energy, utility, or infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
8. Strong coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
9. Ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, regulatory authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams.
10. Experience in site supervision, construction management, contractor coordination, quality control, HSE compliance, and progress monitoring is preferred.
11. Proficient in preparing and reviewing technical reports, engineering documentation, progress reports, and project records.
12. Experience liaising with utility companies, government agencies, local authorities, and regulatory bodies will be an added advantage.
13. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
14. Willingness to be based at project sites in Pahang or Johor and travel as required by project needs.
