Responsibilities (Obligation to ensure that the action is taken):

1. Project Management:

• Lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion within the marine and offshore industries.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

2. Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical leadership and support in areas such as structural design, naval architecture, marine systems, and offshore engineering.
• Conduct independent reviews of engineering documents and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

3. Client Interaction:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to identify project requirements and expectations, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold industry standards and ensure the delivery of reliable and compliant engineering solutions.
• Conduct regular internal checks to identify opportunities for improvement in project processes.

5. Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:

1. Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering works within the marine and offshore industries.

• Possesses Professional engineering license or equivalent certification is preferred.

2. Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of marine and offshore engineering principles, practices, and standards.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.

• Familiarity with classification society rules and regulations.

3. Project Management:

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

4. Communication and Leadership:

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in leading and motivating project teams.
