Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining company IRATA License.
  • Review and involvement in approval of the company’s documented information related to rope access and the related activities.
  • Review and involvement in approval of the company’s documented information related to the delivery of training and the training information for candidates.
  • Review of competency requirements for technicians taking part in rope access and rope access related activities.
  • Determining risk assessment and work plans.
  • Audit of project records, such as rescue plans and risk assessments.
  • Inspections of work sites.
  • Investigation of incidents and non-conformities.
  • Implementation of equipment inspection schedules and defining test criteria.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Possess a Diploma in any field.
  • Possess or have obtained in the past, IRATA Level 3 Certification.
  • At least 1 - 3 years of experience in related field.
  • Knowledge and experience on rope access management systems and must be competent and available to demonstrate such skills in audit activities.
  • Have the ability to create, implement and control an appropriate rope access management system.
  • Have the ability to communicate the IRATA requirements to company directors, managers, supervisors and rope access technicians.
  • Good in verbal and written communication of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • A team player.
  • Strong ethics and integrity.
  • Strong knowledge in oil and gas market and willing to share knowledge.
  • Must be able to travel local and overseas and may be required to work on evening shift and during weekend.
  • Must be willing to work at flexible schedule.
  • Attend to BVM QHSE induction.
  • Comply with applicable customer, legal and other requirements.
  • Possess a valid driving license (D).
