JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure construction activities comply with approved designs, specifications, codes, and standards, while managing and approving any deviations or modifications before implementation.
• To ensure the quality and compliance of materials and equipment through document review, site inspections, and the management of non-conforming items before use
• To monitor construction methods and workmanship through site inspections, ensure compliance with contractual and technical requirements, and implement corrective actions for identified deficiencies
• To oversee and verify laboratory and field-testing activities, review test results for compliance with specifications, and ensure testing is conducted by accredited agencies in accordance with recognized standards.
• To maintain quality records and documentation, manage non-conformance reporting and corrective actions, and provide quality assurance reporting to project stakeholders.
• To drive continuous improvement in construction quality by enhancing processes, promoting best practices, and implementing preventive measures to minimize recurring issues.
• To coordinate and collaborate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives to address quality issues, facilitate timely resolutions, and implement effective corrective actions through regular quality and project meetings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering or any related field.
• Must not exceed 55 years of age.
  IOW personnel must have at least 5 years of work experience.
• Must be registered as graduate engineer with BEM or IOW with BEM or LAM.
• Must be familiar with design drawings and local codes and must be able to identify issues in site construction quality based on design drawings and construction specifications. Data center experience is an advantage.
  
• Proficiency in written and spoken of English and Mandarin.
• Based in Banting, Selangor or Sedenak, Johor.
