JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To be readily available for short-notice inspection assignments and accessible for communication at all times.
  • To receive and act on instructions from the reporting line manager (N+1) regarding project coordination.
  • To review inspection requests and ensure all required information is accurate and complete prior to performing inspections.
  • To understand inspection requirements in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures.
  • To perform inspections in compliance with approved specifications and procedures without deviating from established processes.
  • To ensure the safety of personnel and the workplace before, during, and after inspection activities.
  • To prepare and submit NDT inspection reports, timesheets, and daily inspection reports within the timelines specified by the Client and Management.
  • To communicate promptly with the reporting manager and provide timely updates on project progress and related matters.
  • To ensure inspection activities are carried out within the approved schedule and budget established by Management.
  • To ensure all inspection tools and equipment provided by the Company are properly maintained and kept in good working condition before, during, and after use.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess a minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the NDT field across various industries/sectors.
  • Possess a valid NDT certification (e.g., PCN, CSWIP, ISO 9712 or equivalent), preferably in Ultrasonic Testing Flaw Detection (UTFD).
  • Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.Hold a valid driving licence and be willing to travel to project sites.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
