Job Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  1. Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of projects (including its contracts), ensuring they are delivered within budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
  2. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
  3. Communicate project updates, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and customer satisfaction.
  4. Obtain, protect, and manage License-to-Operate (local and global accreditations) where applicable.
  5. Progressive reports activities and results to immediate superior on weekly/monthly, quarterly basis.
  6. Update and improvise project management manuals, plan, quality procedures where applicable to suit project needs.
  7. Supervise all works performed by the team members, subcontractors, ensure technical quality and timely delivery of services.

Operation Team Leadership:

  1. Achieve set objectives (operations, technical, commercial and financial, including personal)
  2. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting teamwork, innovation, and professional development among team members.
  3. Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the operations team.
  4. Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and career advancement.
  5. Interview, select and recruit of B&I project staff, approve B&I project staff expenses, perform employee performance assessment.
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to the technical and operations team in executing manufacturing projects.
  7. Ensure the implementation of best practices, quality standards, and efficient processes in project operations.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, improve productivity, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Quality Assurance.
  10. Accountable for overall performance of the projects
  11. Able to generate profitable contracts to the Rail, B&I Business Unit through resourcefulness and creative customer driven approach.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical). Advanced degree/ master/PHD, PMP or professional registration with BEM is a plus.
  2. Minimum 15 years in Project Management and/or as technical experts to oversee all aspects of project execution, from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
