JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Business Development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies and industry stakeholders.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to generate new business opportunities.
• Support training team on training content development.
• Work with marketing to develop content for social media.
• Assist BD team during quotation stage with regards to time, resources and cost.

2. Service Delivery
• Ensure that the project deliverables are submitted with quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage the localization of technical content and approaches for sustainability projects/products/services at the country level.
• Build local capacity and expertise through training and knowledge transfer.
• Provide technical expertise and support to clients and internal teams.

3. Team Leadership
• Willing to guide sustainability colleagues and ensure team continuous improvement.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Assist colleagues, particularly inexperienced assessors or those unfamiliar with clients' business/technology and assist in the induction and coaching of new colleagues as requested.

4. Industry Engagement
• Stay abreast of emerging sustainability trends and policies in the region and globally.
• Actively participate in country sustainability forums, conferences, and initiatives.

5. Operational Excellence
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and Bureau Veritas’ policies and procedures.
• Plan and schedule workloads to optimize time management and maximize revenue-earning activity and Margin Protection.
• Ensure BV's brand is at the forefront of the sustainability industry.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Possess a minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of working experience in sustainability.
2. Possess technical knowledge of ISO14064, ISO14067, Green House Gas (GHG), Carbon Footprint, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Sustainability - Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and relevant Sustainability Report Assurance (SRA) -e.g GRI, AA 1000, ISAE 3000, IFC, IFRS - and national and international standards.
3. Resourcefulness in identifying talent and fostering industrial partnerships.
4. Passion for sustainability and a strong drive for growth.
5. Comfortable working in a strong service environment, with excellent interpersonal, written, and general communication skills. Excellent problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to effectively persuade and influence others.
7. Self-motivated and independent, with effective execution power.
8. Preferably possesses auditing skills, ISO 9001/14001/45001 Lead Auditor Qualification.
