JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative:
- Become main technical contact person with certificate holder(s); accreditation body(ies) and scheme owner(s) of relevant scheme(s);
- Coordinating with Local Office (for scheme(s) acting as ICC) for all related services;
- Support Technical Administrator and Certification Executive in coordination of audit activities with certificate holder(s);
- Liaise with internal and external party (e.g. other divisions, branches, local office, ICC, SSC and accreditation body) for coordination of certification activities;
- Lead technical communication with Certificate Holder(s), Accreditation Body(s), Scheme Owner(s);
- Representing BVC for any discussion, meeting and conference with Accreditation Body(s), Scheme Owner(s);
- Review and approve draft certificate for issuance (after making positive certification recommendation);
- Guide Certification Executive on decision or recommendation for certificate suspension, lift-up and withdrawal of certificate holder(s) to scheme owner(s);
- Monitoring status of submission of monthly report to Local Office(s), Accreditation Body(s) and Scheme owner(s) as required;
- Monitoring and update client information in scheme owner(s)/accreditation body(s) IT platform (e.g. Palm Trace, MSPO Trace, ASI Portal, etc.);
- Follow-up on information in BVC integrated IT system platform (e.g. CMX, SIEBEL, ACTIS, SharePoint);
- Review and approve Peer Reviewer(s) to perform report review when required;
- Monitoring cost efficiency and quality of services rendered by third-party/subcontractors (e.g. Peer Reviewer, auditor, Technical expert, MPOCC, RSPO, ASI, DSM, etc.)
Certification Activities:
- Evaluate, review and approve application/sales package submission by Sales Personnel (including from Local Office);
- Evaluate and review audit package submission by Lead Auditor(s);
- Performing Technical Review on audit package submitted by Lead Auditor(s);
- Provide recommendation(s) for Certification Decision to Certification Manager;
- Review, approve and maintain personnel involved in certification process (e.g. Schedulers, Business Development, Technical Reviewer, Witness Auditors, etc.) including Local Office(s);
- Assigning Technical Reviewer to review audit report(s);
- Supports Technical Reviewer in reviewing the reports;
- Provide calibration training/updates to auditor(s);
- Perform audit (RSPO – P&C & SCCS, MSPO – OPMC & SCCS, ISCC, social verification assessment, other related schemes)
Accreditation Activities:
- Maintaining certificate holders information, contact, application and contracting documents, audit packs and other related certification documents;
- Follow-up on non-conformities records and timeline and follow up with Lead Auditor(s); Local Office and responsible auditor(s);
- Coordinating and performing internal audit, management review, impartiality meeting and other related accreditation activity(ies);
- Update relevant management system procedures (including audit pack, checklist, etc.), distribution to auditors and training on changes;
- Updating and maintaining relevant certification information on BVC websites;
- Tracking reviewed report(s); contract(s) and rejection for affiliate/local office and issuing invoice for Local Office
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a bachelor's degree in related disciplines (such as business administration, agriculture, forestry, environmental science or social sciences) from recognized academic institutions.
- Proficiency in written and spoken of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in auditing, technical areas or areas of work relevant to certification.
- Experience in a certification body would be added advantage.
- Able to work independently and with less supervision.
- Good with current IT applications for writing, reporting and communication (i.e.: MS Office, ZOOM/MS Teams, emails, website usage, etc.)
- Good communication skills.
- Training relevant to maintenance of auditing schemes’ qualifications.
- Relevant training to strengthen and expanding team’s capability, to add qualification for each LA.
