Responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and growth of sustainability services within the Southeast Asia market. This role encompasses business development, service delivery, client management, and team leadership, with a strong focus on building relationships with local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Business Development:
  • Identify and develop new sustainability service offerings aligned with market trends and client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government agencies and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to generate new business opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and tenders for sustainability projects.

• Service Delivery:
  • Oversee the delivery of sustainability services, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Build local capacity and expertise through training and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients and internal teams.

• Team Leadership:
  • Build and lead a high-performing sustainability services team across multiple countries.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Develop local talent and succession plans.

• Industry Engagement:
  • Actively participate in regional sustainability forums, conferences, and initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with local NGOs, academic institutions, and industry experts.
  • Stay abreast of emerging sustainability trends and policies in the region.

• Operational Excellence:
  • Implement effective performance metrics and reporting systems to track the impact of sustainability services.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and Bureau Veritas’ policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, engineering, sustainability or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in sustainability consulting or related field with a strong focus on Southeast Asia.
• Deep understanding of ESG/Sustainability issues and relevant tools, standards, regulations and frameworks
• Extensive experience working and leading in a team-based environment
• Strong project management, personnel management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a complex environment.
• Highly motivated and team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English
• Able and willing to travel around the country and overseas.
• Excellence Presentation Skill
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong network of contacts within the sustainability community in Southeast Asia
