Short Description

Reporting to the Operational Transformation Manager, the Graduate Analyst of Operational Excellence & Performance (OEP) Insights supports a overall OEP agenda including HSSE, TIQ, CSR/ESG, broadened Product Line operational excellence and performance scope across the Asia Pacific region. The role contributes to cross-product-line performance visibility, process improvement, reporting standardization, and data-driven decision-making by transforming operational, business, HSSE, TIQ, CSR/ESG, and performance data into trusted insights.

The analyst collaborates with regional, country, functional, and Product Line stakeholders to develop and maintain data-driven reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions that enable leaders to monitor performance, identify trends, manage risks, compare operational practices, and drive continuous improvement across Product Lines. The role supports data governance, reporting assurance, visualization, automation, and AI-enabled analytics while building foundational expertise in business intelligence, performance management, operational transformation, and digital enablement.

This role provides an accelerated learning opportunity for graduates to develop expertise in data visualization, analytics, reporting automation, business intelligence, and AI-enabled decision support while contributing to strategic initiatives across the Asia Pacific region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Data Management & Quality

• Collect, clean, validate, reconcile, and maintain data from approved business, operational, HSSE, TIQ, CSR/ESG, and performance reporting sources.
• Perform data quality checks, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions with data owners and stakeholders.
• Maintain data definitions, governance controls, audit trails, validation records, and supporting documentation to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

Analytics & Insights

• Analyze trends, variances, anomalies, and performance indicators to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
• Support Product Line operational excellence, performance management, HSSE, TIQ, and CSR/ESG reporting through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to interpret findings and translate data into actionable business insights.

Dashboard Development & Reporting

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft 365, and approved analytics tools.
• Create intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly visualizations that improve management visibility and support self-service analytics.
• Prepare recurring regional performance reports, leadership dashboards, management review materials, and analytical summaries.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and automate reporting and analytical processes.
• Support the development, testing, and maintenance of approved automation solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and related technologies.
• Monitor reporting and automation performance and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and user experience.

Governance & Compliance

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives for analytics solutions.
• Ensure responsible, secure, ethical, and compliant use of data, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled technologies.
• Protect confidential information and comply with company policies, governance requirements, and applicable standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant professional, internship, academic-project, research, or portfolio-based experience.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Power BI, Tableau, Data Analytics, AI, Sustainability, or related disciplines are advantageous but not mandatory.
