Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Account Receivable, Account Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Cash flow management
- Dealing with internal/external audits
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Support any M&S, divestment, creation of new entity activities
- Additionally, other controller duties as necessary
- The position is for Commodities Industry & Facility Operating Group
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor or Master Degree in Accountancy
- ACC qualification would be added advantage
- Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in accounting and finance
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience in creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/ year end close process
- Good communication and management skills
