Job Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent technical experience;
- Minimum 10 years of experience as material planner with experience in materials storage handling, planning, preservation, distribution and inventory management.
- Experience in managing corrosion resistant alloys and sour service materials
- It is preferred if candidate has direct experience in working in the fabrication / construction of an offshore / onshore oil and gas facility
- Working knowledge of HSE requirements, with specific focus on materials and transportation
- Working knowledge of local legislative requirements, for importing / exporting for Malaysia and movement of goods between the different states. Knowledge of manufacturing process and supply chain management would be an advantage
- Good communication skills both verbal and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Candidate shall be mobile, as role may entail candidate to be co-located between Fabrication Site and office locations at different period of the project.
- All professional certificate (eg CSWIP / PCN / NACE / ASNT / EX etc) required must be current and valid
- 3 project location ie Kuala Lumpur, Johor and offshore Sarawak; shortlisted candidate will be notified on project and location.
