Role Overview
Manage assigned progressive build construction packages, including facility upgrades, retrofit works, utility-distribution works, building modifications, cleanroom-support works, and capacity-enabling infrastructure.
Manage construction-management activities supporting process-equipment installation, including equipment-area readiness, logistics, move-in coordination, rigging interfaces, utility hook-up, testing, turnover, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management of assigned construction packages and coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, and specialist trades.
- Review project scope, drawings, specifications, construction methodologies, work permits, schedules, and readiness requirements.
- Manage interfaces between facility upgrades and equipment-installation requirements, including work-area readiness, utilities, access routes, temporary works, and shutdown activities.
- Monitor contractor mobilisation, manpower, material availability, work quality, safety performance, construction progress, and schedule compliance.
- Identify site constraints, design issues, utility limitations, access restrictions, and contractor-performance concerns; lead mitigation and recovery actions.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, punch-list closure, as-built documentation, and turnover requirements.
- Prepare project status reports, risk registers, constraint logs, and progress updates.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- More than 10 years of relevant project or construction management experience.
- Experience managing contractors, construction programmes, utility works, building upgrades, MEP coordination, and site execution.
- Ability to manage safety, quality, schedule, risks, changes, and project documentation.
Preferred Background
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, cleanroom, data centre, pharmaceutical, brownfield, or live-facility projects is preferred.
