Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the harmonization and integration of sub-schedules from all parties (functions, subdivisions) involved in the project and challenge inputs from all parties (i.e. Project, Interface Parties, Sub-contractor, Customer etc)
- Control all project schedule activities and support the Program Manager in representing the Project in ll Change and Variation Order related matters
- Report progress against the baseline schedule & budget and continuously monitor risks and opportunities as well as proactively developing scenarios, mitigation or back-up plans as required and review schedule-related KPI’s as required by the project
- Advice and consult on the application of effective planning techniques and controls (earned value, cost and schedule variance, estimates at completion, critical path analysis).
- Manage the creation, accuracy and ongoing maintenance of our P6 (Primavera) and other schedule management tools for the monitoring and reporting on schedule progress.
- Ensure assessment of schedule related risks, opportunities and improvements and follow up on the implementation of risk, opportunity and improvement actions to their completion/close out with monthly reports provided
- Management of project budget alongside Project Managers and Project Services Lead taking accountability for the contracted hours required
- Analyze Change Requests for completeness, correctness, clarity and necessity whilst also following the change control procedure internally for schedule related activities
- Supervise the maintenance and assist updating of document control databases
- Assist with project governance to produce and analyze the program KPIs and ensure the quality of data
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 - 8 years' experience as a project planner in oil and gas, petrochemical or similar industry.
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any engineering disciplines.
- Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software, such as primavera & MS projects
- Extensive experience in schedule planning and management
- In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the industry.
- Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes
