Responsibilities:
1. Perform engineering design appraisal for technical safety by reviewing safety reports, design calculation, drawings, datasheets, specification, etc. ensuring compliance with relevant International Codes and Standards.
2. Perform necessary project audit, e.g. Project Independent Review (PIR), etc.
3. Support plant assurance and FFS projects, ensure quality and technical input of the work.
4. Communicate, monitor, oversee the execution of the projects with the project team members.
5. Maintain technical qualification delegation from HO, full filling the qualification requirement including validation, supervision, renewal, etc

 

Accountabilities:
1. Approve and certify safety engineering design, that is in conformity to International Codes and Standards.
2. Highlight safety engineering design, that is not in conformity with International Codes and Standards.
3. Consult SAFE Leader and/or N+1 on decision making on operation and commercial matters.
4. Consult SAFE Leader and/or Technical Manager on decision making on technical and quality matters.
 

Educational Requirement:

1. Bachelor Degree in Process Engineering or equivalent

 

Preferred Skills / Qualifications :

1. Having 4-6 working experience

2. Preferrable at least 5 years related risk and safety consultancy (i.e. QRA, EERA, FERA, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, fire fighting/protection etc. risk studies).

3. Familiar with appropriate computer software (PHAST, PHASTRISK, etc.), COMPANY Specification (Petronas PTS, Shell DEP, TotalEnergies etc.) and codes (API/NFPA/NORSOK)
