Job Description:
The QAQC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the construction process adhere to established quality standards and specifications on mechanical scope. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and documenting results to verify that materials and workmanship comply with project requirements. The QAQC Engineer (Mechanical) will work closely with QAQC manager, QAQC Lead, general contractors, and suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring the successful completion of projects to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests on materials, components, and construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Quality Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify non-conformances, document findings, and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Quality Control Procedures: Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent quality across all project phases.
- Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination: Work with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials and workmanship meet required quality standards.
- Compliance Verification: Verify that all construction activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues and implement problem-solving measures to prevent recurrence.
- Audit Participation: Assist in internal and external quality audits, ensuring all findings are addressed and corrective actions are implemented.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients regarding quality issues and ensure client satisfaction with project quality.
- Quality Metrics Tracking: Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing regular updates to the QAQC Manager and project stakeholders.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in construction management, site supervision, quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry.
- Preferably engineer with experienced in project related to semiconductor, data centre and manufacturing.
