Job Responsibilities:

Main:

  1. Perform duties as lead auditor/auditor reporting to QHSE Technical Manager.
  2. To support in market expansion in East Malaysia, particularly Sarawak.
  3. Identification of opportunities and sharing with sales team to follow up.
  4. To assimilate, understand and operate the BUREAU VERITAS CERTIFICATION Management System.
  5. To control the overall performance of audit activities, including any planning, review and the control of the other members of the audit team
  6. Authority over whatever decisions are necessary during the audits and to recommend the presentation or otherwise of a certificate of approval.
  7. To decide upon evidence gained during Audits whether or not certification should be granted or allowed to continue.
  8. To assist in the training of other Auditors and Lead Auditors, either during planned Audits or during other training functions.
  9. To maintain all current Memberships and Registrations applicable to the post.
  10. To maintain continuous professional development
  11. To undertake any other activities, as directed by the TM.

 

Progressive:

  1. To assist in recruiting subcontractors in East Malaysia to support audit needs, depending on schemes not limited to QHSE only.
  2. Participate in the business growth plan with sales and operations.
  3. Any other task assigned from time to time by company that is within the capabilities and competency.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of working experience in the industry.
  2. Lead Auditor Qualification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  3. Having background (at least 1 year working experienced) in construction, shipbuilding, metal, electrical and equipment manufacturing respectively.
  4. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  5. Resourcefulness in identifying talents and fostering industrial partnerships.
  6. Passion for driving excellence and a strong drive for growth.
  7. Comfort working in a strong service environment, with excellent interpersonal, written, and general communication skills.
  8. Ability to effectively persuade and influence others.
  9. Ability to negotiate with Non-Exclusive hires.
  10. Self-motivated and independent, with effective execution power.
