Role Overview

Develop, maintain, analyse, and report schedules for facility upgrades, retrofit works, utility works, building modifications, and related construction packages.

Manage planning and schedule-control activities for process-equipment installation, including readiness planning, delivery, move-in, hook-up, testing, turnover, and associated enabling works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules, work breakdown structures, milestone plans, logic links, short-term look-ahead plans, and recovery schedules.
  • Collect, validate, and report contractor progress, critical-path activities, near-critical activities, key milestones, and schedule risks.
  • Analyse delays, constraints, incomplete works, design changes, access restrictions, utility limitations, material delays, and resource shortages.
  • Prepare schedule-risk registers, constraint logs, manpower histograms, progress curves, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Support schedule integration with equipment-installation activities, shutdown plans, tie-ins, commissioning activities, and turnover milestones.
  • Conduct schedule reviews and provide practical mitigation, resequencing, acceleration, and recovery recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Planning, or a related discipline.
  • More than 7 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, project controls, construction management, or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in critical-path analysis, progress measurement, look-ahead planning, recovery planning, and schedule reporting.

Preferred Background

Experience in industrial, manufacturing, cleanroom, data centre, infrastructure, MEP, brownfield, or live-facility projects is an advantage.
