As we continue to develop Marketing & Sales activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organisation as Business Developer for its developing operations. Position is located  within Lagos or Port Harcourt in Nigeria:

 

Mission:

 

Marketing & sales development and revenue growth for Offshore activities in Nigeria

 

Functional Competencies:

 

  • Prepare and implement Marine strategy for the country with the support of Regional commercial and B.D. Manager;
  • Visit pro actively the clients and prospects in the Geography to promote BV Marine Services.
  • Promote BV Marine services during commercial events (conferences, seminars, ...);
  • Transforms client needs into a sales strategy and a plan, governs relationships, meet key stakeholders and clients;
  • Interacts with Marine & Offshore regional Business Developers to get support for the country;
  • Ensure Regional Growth Initiatives are pushed and realized in country with expected profitability levels;
  • Ensure the registration of BV as vendor with all clients and targeted prospects;
  • Coordinates all sourcing/ Procurement activities related to Tenders in order to allow to competitive bidding and on-time deliveries for projects.
  • Prepare proposals and manage the negotiations and conclusions of contracts;
  • Prepare response to tender
  • Collects feedback of client satisfaction;
  • Participate in contract negotiation with the relevant support from legal, finance and management
  • Complies with / implements Bureau Veritas Corporate standards and BV 3 Absolutes (Safety, Ethics, Financial Control);
  • Complies with latest «Approval Matrix» for delegation of authority (contract sign limits, suppliers etc.).

 

Requirements:

 

  • Graduate degree preferably in engineering;
  • Experience of the Offshore sector (5/10 years);
  • Experience in sales and marketing or Business development (5/10 years)
  • English fluent
