Team Leader - IOO

Purpose of Position

- To plan and supervise all activities of inspection services.

-The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

Major Responsibilities

1. Ensure inspection operations are further enhanced as per Company policy and client requirements.
2. Monitor scheduling of inspections and ensure execution is done as per agreed execution plan.
3. Assist in developing existing and new business through regular client contacts and satisfaction.
4. Monitor performance and investigate any problems/complaints with a view to improvement of operations to ‘zero defect ‘as the ultimate goal.
5. Act as interface between client and execution team. Work closely with BV overseas offices.
6. Communicate and coordinate with clients and handle their claims and complaints.
7. Maintain quality level in department and ensure key performance indicators are strictly followed.
8. Maintain standards and technical capabilities to meet and satisfy demands set by the clients and / or any statutory authorities.
9. Approve certificates, reports and invoices, as required within specified timeframe.
10. Draft, negotiate and secure contracts for local and international clients
11. Manage operations to ensure adequate efficiency, productivity and the best quality of execution
12. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to customers
13. Collect data on training needs; identify suitable programs, coordinating with technical auditors for nominating candidates from the team.
14. Lead, coach and develop branch inspection team
15. Managerial review of quality documents, files, invoices, capability matrix and job execution matrix.

Qualification and Experience

- BE Mech

- 8-10 years in similar role

- Sufficient experience in the inspection of the following items.
