JOB DESCRIPTION PWHT TECHNICIAN

Job description / Skill Requirement:

-Perform the work in a safe and alert manner and be aware of the possibility of unseen dangers or situations.

-Keep clean work Area & maintain Housekeeping.

-Perform PWHT using liase with approved procedural requirements.

-Able to identify the requirement of Heating elements Gauge and placement, placement and No.of Thermo couples asper the approved procedure.

-Able to identify the requirements of heating band, soaking band and insulation band width as per the approved procedure.

-Able to set the recorder with chart speed requirements and all required connections.

-Shall be aware of rate of heating, soaking and rate of cooling requirements with control system requirements as per the approved procedure.

-Able to perform necessary demonstrations as per the project specific approved procedures.

-Shall be able to read the PWHT Charts and reporting requirements as per approved procedure.

-Shall verify the joint details as per the request provided by client.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS

-Basic communication skills

-Minimum 3 years work experience
