As we continue to develop Marine & Offshore activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organisation as Marine Scheduler/Planner for it's growing organization. Position is located  Doha, Qatar.

 

 

Functional Competencies:

 

  • Review client job requests and conduct initial analysis to scope the job (type of job, ship/equipment types, date, location, time requirement
  • Manage workload for surveyors and qualification conflicts, if any, and plan chargeable and non-chargeable activities of surveyors
  • Propose assignment of surveyor to a given job based on multiple criteria (client preferences, travel constraints, surveyors’ availability, etc)
  • Manage planning confirmation through the use of  relevant applications and software (MyChronos) for management and optimize resource planning
  • Manage post-scheduling by taking care of re-scheduling and ensure full accuracy of scheduling data past-present-future (eg. duplicate jobs, missing data)
  • Support client timely by answering process related and technical queries
  • Invoicing clients and recovery of unpaid invoices
  • Follow up supplier invoices
  • Advise and guidance to surveyors in their daily administrative, transactional needs
  • Effective monitoring of jobs in accordance with KPIs and keeping track of all survey requests
  • Co-ordination with other Admin teams (T&E and Invoicing) to ensure efficiency of the end-to-end process
  • Undertake other adhoc projects as directed by the Operation Manager

 

Skills:

 

  • University degree
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in operations back office - technical experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of quality systems and IT tools.
  • Ability to gain knowledge on technical back office-related topics.
