Education Degree:
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent.
Technical knowledge:
- Oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations & equipment/piping specific specifications.
- Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ Years of QA/QC inspection experience in Oil & Gas Field.

Document Review, Inspection & Reporting
Technical Expertise:
1- He shall be familiar with QC methods and capable of making and approving Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for fabrication and repair/ renewal of Static Equipment and Piping. He should be capable of reviewing Material Test Certificates (MTC) and inspect the materials received.
2 - QC Inspector shall also have prior experience and a working knowledge of National and International Codes and Standards applicable to Welding and NDT methods. He must be aware of the various forms of welding techniques together with relevant QA and QC procedures.
3 - Ensure day-to-day work is performed effectively, efficiently, and safely to enhance plant reliability/integrity and promote safety & compliance to environmental standards.
4 - Be able to perform the Inspection activities below:
- Perform visual External Inspection of all static equipment.
- Prepare Inspection report and Pre/Post T&I reports.
- Record Inspection findings in the relevant checklist and issue
5 - Responsible for performing, executing and coordinating all QC related inspection procedures and inspection hold points in the plan.
6 - Maintain all Inspection records and drawings up to date on proper system.
7 - Ensure the quality of work performed by Inspection Contractors as well as compliance with the agreed contract.
8 - Shall monitor project progress to verify compliance with the approved construction drawings & materials specifications as per standards.
9 - Verify and ensure that all contractors’ personnel are qualified and certified prior to starting any work.
10 - Issue corrective actions based on the inspection findings and follow up to ensure completion of reported corrective actions.
