Education:

Engineering Technical Field (Mechanical or Electrical)

Training:

• Training in the field of inspection, testing or maintenance is preferred
• Familiar with Lifts Inspection
• LEEA Certification minimum 02 LEEA

Technical knowledge:

Recognized authority within his field of technical knowledge / specialization with certification of LEEA, Train the Trainer and experience with Lifts Inspection

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in inspection field acting as an expert.

Primary Functions:

▪ Role of the candidate shall be to act as Senior Lifting Inspector representing Bureau VERITAS at client sites.
▪ Role will be on call basis covering multiple client sites at different projects.
▪ Promote BV ethics and values to the clients
▪ Adhere to BV QHSSE policies and procedures
▪ Act as an independent technical body to inspect and certify lifting equipment, elevators, cranes and for operators assessment.
▪ Consolidate BV position at project site and help develop more revenue stream at the project.
▪ Contribute to the technical development and capabilities of the Business Unit in terms of best inspection practices.
▪ Mentoring young inspectors by supervision and promote work shadowing.
▪ On time reporting and issuance of certificates
▪ Management of certification records and inspection documents.

Technical Expertise:

• At least 10 years’ experience in the field of lifting inspection inspections.
• Minimum 02 LEEA certification.
• Additional HSE certification is recommended.

Business Requirements:

• Fluent English and local language skills
• Able to readily travel locally in KSA and perform inspection assignments
• Excellent Soft skills and communication skills to meet existing and potential clients to inform about Bureau Veritas services and solutions.
• Self Starter and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Strong presentation and reporting skills is required to deliver Bureau VERITAS deliverables to the client and end user authorities.
