Purpose of Position:
- To ensure the quality, performance, and security of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
- The position perform inl ine with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, inculding the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group Policy.
Major Responsibilities:
- To carry out routine inspections of pressure vessels piping as client specifications & international applicable standards
- To carry out reliability assess of the equipment’s in the areas assigned.
- Manage operations to ensure adequate efficiency, productivity and the best quality of execution.
- Maintain standards and technical capabilities to meet and satisfy demands set by the clients and/ or any statutory authorities.
- Reporting site N+1 on activities & issues on regular basis
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriately cost-effective way
- Improve operational management systems processes and best practices.
- Approve certificates, reports as required within specified time frame.
- Help the organization’s processes remain legally complaint.
For the HSE management system, his/her responsibilities & authorities includes:
- Implementing BV safety programs within the team
- Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV HSE
- Policies, procedures and practices.
- Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/HSE Representative
- Report immediately to HSE Representative any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.
- Report immediately to HSE Representative any HSE incident and cooperate in investigating Reporting all incidents and taking action whenever they see an unsafe act or condition
- Take care of your own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do (or do not do).
- Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering + API 570 & 510 certification
- Extensive knowledge of site Pressure vessels & Piping reliability inspections
- 5 to 8 years in the same field
- Should be able to manage all mechanical inspections, train junior Engineers and must have technical knowledge Maaden project requirements.
- Should add new services and support overall development of the department.
