JOB PURPOSE:
To conduct inspections at customer facilities/sites including the collection of samples for laboratory analysis in a safe and ethical manner in line with international and industry recognised standards under the supervision of senior staff.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in conducting inspections (ship and shore tank gauging, tank inspections, draft surveys, container inspections etc) and collecting samples in conformance with established methods, instructions, and quality standards
- Assist in conducting inspections using a range of methods, techniques and equipment ensuring that data and results are accurately recorded in accordance with Company and international standards and procedures
- Support the preparation of all equipment prior to conducting inspections including calibration and verification to ensure equipment is in good operating condition, and ensure equipment is cleaned and stored as per Company procedures
- Report faulty equipment to relevant stakeholders for timely resolution and replacement and ensure faulty equipment is labelled and processed as per Company policies and procedures
- Label sample containers with full and correct identifying data, including location of sample, material, type of sample, safety information, time collected, etc.
- Assist in the recording and distribution of inspection results/findings with relevant stakeholders (i.e., Coordinator, Operations Manager etc.) in a timely manner and support the production of inspection reports describing procedures/methodology used and present results in an appropriate/required manner
- Attend and ensure completion of all mandatory technical and QHSSE training courses provided by the Company
- Ensure compliance with all relevant (internal and external) regulations including QHSSE requirements using company policies and procedures as appropriate
HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:
Must follow the business HSE rules and requirements, taking all reasonable steps to protect and ensure the health and safety of themselves and those that may be impacted by their actions. Only use equipment they are properly trained and competent to use, and not modify such equipment. Actively assesses risks and hazards and applies appropriate controls to mitigate. Reports incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions in a timely manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIEN:

- *Fresh graduate can be considered for this role
