Power Plant Process Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Power Plant Process Engineer to optimize and enhance the performance of our power plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, expertise in power plant systems, and the ability to analyze and improve operational processes to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).

Training: In-depth knowledge of power plant equipment, thermodynamics, and process control systems.

Minimum Experience Required: A minimum of [10] years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the energy or power generation industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize power plant processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Monitor the performance of plant equipment and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure seamless workflow and problem resolution.
• Design and implement process modifications to achieve performance targets.
• Conduct root cause analyses to address equipment failures and propose long-term solutions.
• Ensure all processes comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on process performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and operational challenges.

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of power plant equipment, thermodynamics, and process control systems.
• Proficiency in using process simulation and analysis software.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to power plant operations.
