2. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
2.1. Specialty
Civil Engineer
2.2. Education Degree
Bachelors in civil engineering/Master Degree
2.4. Technical knowledge
• Leadership and decision-making skills
• Strong contract management capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Risk management and problem-solving
• Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., Primavera)
2.5. Experience
17- 20 Years experience
3. RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
3.1. Primary Functions
▪ Plan, lead, and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to handover.
▪ Ensure delivery in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
▪ Ensure design completeness, constructability, and cost efficiency.
▪ Support value engineering and technical optimization.
▪ Develop procurement strategy and manage tendering processes.
▪ Evaluate contractor submissions and recommend awards
▪ Oversee site activities and ensure compliance with contracts and specifications.
▪ Monitor contractor performance, resources, and productivity.
▪ Monitor project budget, variations, and cost performance and administer contract terms, claims, and variations.
▪ Ensure implementation of QA/QC systems and compliance with specifications.
▪ Monitor inspections and address non-conformance issues.
▪ Coordinate with client, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
▪ Ensure timely approvals and smooth communication Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
▪ Provide early warnings on issues affecting project delivery.
▪ Maintaining project cost within approved budget and controlling variations.
▪ Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
▪ Manage team schedules, attendance, and workload distribution. .
▪ Monitor team performance through KPIs and take corrective action where needed.
▪ Resolve operational issues promptly and escalate when required.
▪ Handle escalated inquiries or issues in a professional and timely manner.
▪ Coach team members to enhance skills, quality, and productivity.

3.5. QHSSE Responsibilities
▪ Implementing BV safety programs within the team
▪ Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV HSE
▪ Policies, procedures and practices.
▪ Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/HSE Representative
▪ Report immediately to HSE Representative any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.
▪ Report immediately to HSE Representative any HSE incident and cooperate in investigating Reporting all incidents and taking action whenever they see an unsafe act or condition
▪ Take care of your own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do (or do not do).
▪ Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare
