Job Summary: 
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Techno-Commercial Sustainability Specialist to oversee sustainability initiatives, drive sales, and manage project delivery across Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading business development efforts, preparing proposals, tracking bids for tenders, and delivering and ensuring seamless delivery of sustainability projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with the sustainability team. Knowledge of key sustainability frameworks such as GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, ISO 14067, GRI, TCFD, carbon credit schemes, and sustainability strategy development will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
1.    Business Development & Sales:
•    Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the sustainability sector across Saudi Arabia.
•    Lead proposal preparation, ensuring timely and competitive submissions for tenders and direct client opportunities.
•    Track and manage tender bidding processes, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with bid requirements.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring long-term engagement and business growth.
•    Conduct client presentations, lead negotiations, and prepare contracts, with the ability to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
•    Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create and implement effective sales strategies.
2.    Technical Leadership & Project Delivery:
•    Lead the delivery of sustainability projects either individually or in collaboration with the sustainability team, ensuring high-quality and timely outputs.
•    Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from scoping and planning to execution, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry standards.
•    Serve as the technical expert in sustainability services, including, but not limited to carbon reduction strategies, carbon footprint calculation and verification, sustainability report development and assurance, green building certifications, trainings and more.
•    Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, while ensuring adherence to sustainability frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements.
•    Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
3.    Proposal & Tender Management:
•    Prepare high-quality proposals, ensuring that all client requirements and project objectives are met.
•    Track tender opportunities, prepare documentation, and manage the submission process to ensure timely and compliant bids.
•    Develop customized solutions for clients based on a deep understanding of sustainability trends and local regulations.
•    Ensure accurate costing, risk assessment, and resource planning in all tender and proposal documentation.
4.    Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management:
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and providing regular updates throughout the project lifecycle.
•    Facilitate workshops, presentations, and client meetings to communicate sustainability concepts, project status, and outcomes.
•    Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, promoting the organization’s sustainability expertise.
•    Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:
•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, project management, or a related field, particularly in KSA. 
•    Proven ability in business development, proposal preparation, tender management, and sales in the sustainability sector.
•    Strong technical knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards such as GRI, TCFD, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, ISO 14067, SBTi, LEED, and carbon credit schemes.
•    Expertise in delivering projects related to ESG reporting, carbon management, energy audits, and sustainability strategy development.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex sustainability topics to diverse audiences.
•    Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, both individually and as part of a team.
