Introduction

Bureau Veritas Certification Department is recruiting a Sales Manager that will be based at the Sandton Office and reporting to the Head of Certification.

The purpose of this role is to manage the sales team and implement commercial strategy to grow the Certification business.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Sales or Business Administration.
  • High level commercial profile, ability to sell the complete range of related business line BV services to top –level customers.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in sales function.
  • Ability to prepare and make high impact presentations and influence decision makers.
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Driver’s License

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving sales budget for the related business line.
  • Implements commercial strategy as defined by chief executive and related business line manager.
  • Follow up of Commercial Action Plan. Commercial visit preparation and reporting.
  • Definition and communication of pricing rules (potential discounts…).
  • Sales Process: prospecting, client visits, contracts follow-up, proposal generation, contract negotiation and finally handing over contract to operations.
  • Manages the sales team, training the sales staff, define KPI’s for sales team.
  • Monitors customer satisfaction for existing clients including resolution of any commercial issues.
  • Marketing campaigns and support, mailing, commercial meeting organisation.
  • Internal communication of sales and marketing information (references, best practices, CRM tools reports…), commercial knowledge management.
  • Market studies: gathers and analyses commercial information, recommendations to Business Unit Managers
