Plan Approval Surveyor

Join our team in Madrid as a Plan Approval Surveyor for our ship structures department and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and integrity of maritime engineering projects. This position requires an experienced professional with a solid background in naval engineering, ready to lead and innovate in a dynamic work environment.

 

 

•    Design Review: You will be responsible for the comprehensive review of ship structural designs, including manual calculations and the use of specialized software in structural calculations (e.g., Steel for beam calculations, VeriSTAR Hull for Finite Element Method (FEM) based analyses).
•    Inspection and Reporting: Conduct inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports using the VeriSTAR Project Management system, a proprietary tool of Bureau Veritas.
•    Contractual Requirements Review: Ensure all designs meet the applicable contractual standards and specifications, including technical norms and project-specific requirements.

 

 

•    Education: Naval Engineering
•    Languages: Proficiency in English (C1 level or equivalent)
•    Experience: 8 years in a similar role
•    Location: Madrid, Spain
