Role Overview:
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented CSA Engineer to support the delivery of civil, structural, and architectural works for a large-scale hyperscale data center project in Thailand.
The CSA Engineer will be responsible for reviewing designs, supervising construction works and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. The role will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and other discipline engineers to ensure seamless coordination and high-quality execution of all CSA-related work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate civil, structural, and architectural designs, drawings, and specifications
- Monitor and supervise on-site CSA construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and project requirements
- Review and comment on contractor submittals, including shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions
- Ensure all works comply with local regulations, codes, and project quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and adherence to specifications
- Identify and raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective actions
- Coordinate closely with MEP, ELV, and commissioning teams to ensure proper interface and integration
- Support the implementation of QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with quality plans
- Monitor project progress against schedule and highlight risks, delays, or technical issues
- Participate in progress meetings, providing updates on CSA works and key issues
- Verify completed works for interim payments and handover readiness
- Support snagging, de-snagging, and final inspections prior to handover
- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and records in line with project requirements
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and promote safe working practices on site
Key Competencies & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil/structural/architectural engineering within construction projects
- Proven experience in large-scale projects, preferably data centers, mission-critical facilities, or industrial developments
- Strong understanding of construction methods, structural systems, and architectural finishes
- Experience in site supervision, QA/QC processes, and contractor management
- Familiarity with review of shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals
- Experience working in fast-track, high-quality construction environments
- Knowledge of local codes and regulations in Thailand is preferred
- Exposure to Data Center design standards (e.g., high load floors, redundancy, fire-rated systems) is an advantage
Contract Duration: 20 Months
