Short Description
The Inspection Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing engineering inspection activities for international projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements, applicable standards, and Bureau Veritas procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate engineering inspection activities for projects worldwide, covering various industrial sectors
- Liaise with clients, inspectors, project managers, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of inspection assignments
- Select and assign qualified inspectors according to project and technical requirements
- Prepare and manage inspection schedules, inspection plans, and related documentation
- Review inspection reports for technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Act as the main point of contact for inspection-related matters with clients and overseas offices
- Monitor project progress, deadlines, and resource utilization to ensure timely delivery
- Support continuous improvement of inspection coordination processes and quality systems
- Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas quality, health, safety, and ethical requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or related fields)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection, engineering, project coordination, or related technical roles
- Strong understanding of engineering inspection processes, codes, and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, etc. – an advantage)
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, as daily communication with international clients and inspectors is required
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with inspection or project management systems is a plus
- Willingness to work with global time zones and overseas stakeholders
