Role Overview:
The QA Manager will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and overseeing the project's Quality Assurance and Quality Management systems to ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, applicable standards, and industry best practices.
The role will lead the QA/QC team and work closely with the PMC team, contractors, consultants, and commissioning stakeholders to ensure robust quality processes are maintained throughout design review, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.
Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial plants, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
- Lead and manage all project QA/QC activities across CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, ELV, and Substation works.
- Review and approve contractor QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
- Establish quality control processes and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct quality audits, inspections, surveillance activities, and compliance assessments.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to approved QA/QC procedures.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), observations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with discipline engineers, construction teams, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues.
- Review and verify inspections, testing records, factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and commissioning documentation.
- Ensure punch-list, snagging, and defect management processes are effectively implemented and closed out.
- Prepare quality reports, dashboards, KPI tracking, and management presentations.
- Support project handover by ensuring all quality documentation, testing records, and certifications are complete.
Key Competencies & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 12+ years of QA/QC experience in large-scale construction, industrial, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects.
- Previous experience on data center projects is highly desirable.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary QA/QC teams.
- Strong knowledge of international construction standards and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Contract Duration: 20 Months
