Job Title: Lifting Manager – base in Sathahip Offices
Position Overview
The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading and managing Bureau Veritas' operations in Sathahip and Songkhla branch offices, with a primary focus on in-service inspection services for lifting equipment and crane systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of NDT, lifting and crane inspection services
- Manage team performance and productivity
- Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas quality standards and safety protocols
- Develop and implement strategic plans for branch growth
- Technical Supervision
- Provide technical guidance for inspection teams
- Maintain high-quality technical standards in crane and lifting equipment assessments
- Review and validate technical reports and inspection findings
- Revenue and Business Development
- Drive revenue growth for the branch
- Develop new business opportunities in the region
- Manage client relationships and expand service portfolio
- Monitor and report financial performance
- Compliance and Quality
- Ensure adherence to local and international inspection regulations
- Maintain ISO and Bureau Veritas certification standards
- Implement continuous improvement processes
Qualifications Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
- Advanced certification in inspection technologies preferred
- Experience
- Minimum 15 years in technical inspection, preferably in In-service inspection, NDT, Plant Inspection, lifting equipment and crane systems
- Proven management experience in technical service environments
- Previous experience in Bureau Veritas or similar inspection organizations
- Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of crane and lifting equipment inspection standards
- Proficiency in technical report writing
- Strong understanding of safety regulations
- Competent in digital reporting and management tools
- Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong communication skills in Thai and English
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Customer relationship management
Additional Requirements
- Valid professional certifications in technical inspection
- Willingness to travel between Sathahip and Songkhla offices
- Clean driving license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical reporting software
