Construction Manager - Food Industry (Contract at Suratthani)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are understood and executed effectively.
• Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design to final implementation and handover.

• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure that projects adhere to the latest requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions without compromising quality or safety.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure that construction work meets established standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly.
• Proactively address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety among project teams.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members to ensure alignment and cohesion.
• Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to support construction activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in construction management, with a focus on food industry projects.

• Background as this role is project management heavy in  Food or Pharma industry is essential due to having to understand how to execute a high hygiene construction project.

• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software tools and applications.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Certification in construction management (e.g., Certified Construction Manager) is a plus.
