Purpose of Role

To research, develop, manage, plan and direct relationships and opportunities for Thailand Testing business unit, acting with a select number of accounts as the Key Account Manager.

 

Job description

  1. Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
  2. Developing growth strategies and plans.
  3. Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
  4. Discovers and explores business opportunities.
  5. Writing customer’s proposals/quotation.
  6. Sales opportunity/activity monitoring, tracking and progress update.
  7. Understanding of BVAQ products and services.
  8. Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  9. Ensure that the Customer Services Team provide outstanding service to customers and can efficiently coordinate queries and resolve complaints.
  10. Utilise CRM - Salesforce to record all interaction with the customer and ensure integrity of customer information.
  11. Establish networks with key customers and potential customers, as well as stakeholders such as industry associations.  Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
  12. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  13. Ensure that BVAQ SEA is recognised as the industry leader in service and performance.
  14. Partner with global team, technical team, Bureau VeritasCertification team, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects, project-manage new contracts; or on-boarding new customers; and responsible for establishing customer satisfaction with service level agreement.
  15. Collaborate with the technical team to identify and develop technical solutions to meet the demand of the customers.
  16. Responsible to do the market survey in order to support the sales activity
  17. Identify new market opportunities across developing segments.
  18. Maintain information on competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, policies, pricing, services, etc. to increase likelihood of winning bid situations.
  19. Leverage the strengths of the team as needed in the business development process to ensure sound business and science solutions are provided.

 

Qualifications

  • Any gender, Thai Nationality
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in food science/technology/engineering or other relevant science subjects include medical science, nutrition, microbiology and applied chemistry/biochemistry.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Sales or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of food testing laboratories through previous work and/or sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and experience of the food testing, food safety and/or food production industries to expand BVAQ sale revenue.
  • Strong business skills are needed to proactively address business concerns and identify opportunities throughout the market, seek out and cultivate high-level relationships, and translate customer priorities into product solution.
