Key Responsibilities :
• Supervise and manage all construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
• Oversee the work of the EPC contractor, ensuring compliance with construction designs, drawings, and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure that construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, addressing any construction-related queries or issues.
• Review and approve construction designs, drawings, and technical documentation related to the project.
• Identify and resolve technical problems that may arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Ensure that all construction works are performed in accordance with approved designs, drawings, and project specifications.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet the required standards and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of construction works and materials.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
• Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including progress updates, delays, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure effective coordination of construction activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in construction supervision, with a focus on similar petrochemical units. Proven experience in a PMA(Project Management Assistancy) environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of engineering processes, materials, and international standards.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical, Instrumentation/Control, and also a proven track experience in these areas in the construction of O&G and Petrochemical units.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for team and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic project environment.
- Fluency in English (minimum B2 Level); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
