As we continue to develop our activities, we are delighted to offer a unique opportunity to join our organization as a HSE MANAGER for its growing operations. The position is located within our Istanbul office in Türkiye.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Identify applicable HSSE requirements (legal, company and others) and determine how these requirements apply to the Operation. 

  • Dedicate sufficient time to assess HSSE conditions, report to management on HSSE performance, and advise management of recommendations for improvement, including appropriate prevention and control strategies. 

  • Support management to hold all operations and functional employees at all levels accountable to implement assigned responsibilities and activities to attain HSSE goals/targets and objectives and complying with legal HSSE requirements and company requirements. 

  • Acquire the required HSSE technical skills, knowledge and maintain HSSE competencies through continuous learning and development. Country animation; 

  • Coordinates country tasks (Management System, Audit & reports) with TIQ, 

  • Leads and animate the HSE network in the Country, 

  • Participates in the recruitment, training and assessment of HSE resources, 

  • Cascades Group information to country (newsletter, alerts, feedback from LG meeting, etc.). Management system; 

  • Tracks and reports HSE KPIs to local management (SAS and quarterly reports), 

  • Develops or updates necessary local procedures to comply with applicable requirements, 

  • Identifies of local high risk activities and ensure that processes are in place to protect employees, 

  • Leads or maintains the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001certifications, 

  • Identify and disseminates best practices within the country. Prevention; 

  • Analyzes Group Alerts, propose local action plan to management and report implementation to Group, 

  • Communicates local safety alerts to country employees, 

  • Deploys Safety Campaigns in coordination with HR network, 

  • Ensures HSE induction and training material are appropriate, include Group e-learning module, and coordinate with HR for the annual training plan. If necessary deliver training; 

  • Ensures with local management that PPEs are properly managed, HSE Performance; 

  • Conducts accidents investigation, 

  • Conducts on-site visits, 

  • Coordinates Management Review with TIQ. 

  • Shall perform other tasks and duties related to his position as assigned by his first line manager,.
